Authors should prepare an Extended Abstract (from 2 to 4 pages - including references) that clearly indicates the originality of the contribution and the relevance of the work. The Extended Abstract should include the title of the paper, names and affiliations of the authors, an abstract, keywords, an introduction describing the nature of the problem and the state of the art in the field of interest, a description of the contribution, the results achieved and their applicability, conclusions, and references.

Please note that the format for the Extended Abstract is identical to the format for the Final Paper, except for the number of pages: the Extended Abstract has a required length of 2 up to 4 pages; the Final Paper has a required length of 5 up to 6 pages.
Submission of Extended Abstract
To submit an Extended Abstract, authors must register on the MetroAgriFor Open Conference System, via the following web link:

After registration, authors will be allowed to submit the prepared Extended Abstract. The file must be submitted in PDF format to the MetroAgriFor Open Conference System at the following address:
www.metroagrifor.org/ocs/index.php/metroagrifor/metroagrifor2020/author/submit
Authors must verify that all fonts used in the manuscript are embedded within the PDF file.
After the submission, authors will receive a paper ID and an e-mail confirming the successful submission, and they can verify the state of their submission.
Extended Abstract Review
Submitted Extended Abstract are evaluated by at least two (2) peer reviewers, who judge the paper according to the following criteria:
- Relevance to the conference topics;
- Quality of presentation;
- Significance of treated topic;
- Novelty of the given contribution.
Extended Abstract Acceptance and Preparation of the Final Paper
When the review process has been completed, authors receive a notification of either acceptance or rejection of the submission. If the Extended Abstract has been accepted, the authors can prepare a Final Paper that incorporates the reviewers' suggestions.
The format for the Final Papers is identical to the format for the Extended Abstracts except for the number of pages: the full paper has a required minimum length of five (5) pages and a maximum of six (6) pages.
