Naples International Airport
Naples has an International Airport called Capodichino. The airport has good links to main European cities like London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich and main Italian cities like Milan and Rome by direct flights. It is located at a 7 km from the city centre.
For the moment the airport it is not served by any rail system. But to move from Capodichino International Airport to Central Railways Station (Piazza Garibaldi) you can take Alibus (ticket 3€) or Taxi. You can buy Alibus tickets on board the bus ( with supercharge of 1€ for each ticket) or also at the Sun Store shop in Naples International Airport Unico or at Tobacco Shops. Alibus Ticket allows only one journey on the shuttle Alibus, on the route Naples International Airport / Central Train Station / Piazza Municipio (port) or vice versa, and the use of all means of transport of the Companies participating in the UNICOCAMPANIA consortium within Naples urban area. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes from the first validation.
From Central Railways Station (Piazza Garibaldi) to "Portici" you'll have to take the train (from Napoli centrale to Portici Ercolano).
Local (Regional) Train: From Central Railways Station (Piazza Garibaldi) to Portici-Ercolano (about 30 minutes).
