IEEE MetroAgriFor 2021 will have the following awards, which will be announced and bestowed at the Conference Closing Ceremony.
Best Conference Paper Award
This award recognizes the most outstanding paper presented at IEEE MetroAgriFor Workshop.
The Best Conference Paper Award is sponsored by MDPI Sensors Journal.
The author of the awarded paper, and co-authors if any, will be entitled to:
- A prize money amounting to 500 CHF;
- A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
- The announcement of their achievement on a special conference webpage.
Basis for Judging: A selection committee will be appointed by the IEEE MetroAgriFor Awards Committee Chairs. Papers are judged based on technical merit, originality, potential impact on the field, clarity of the written paper, and quality of the conference presentation.
Presentation: The award will be announced and presented at the IEEE MetroAgriFor Closing Ceremony.
Best Paper Presented by a Young Researcher
This award recognizes the best paper authored and presented by a researcher younger than 35 years in age.
The Best Conference Paper Award is sponsored by MDPI Agriculture Journal.
The author of the awarded paper, and co-authors if any, will be entitled to:
- A prize money amounting to 600 CHF;
- A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
- The announcement of their achievement on a special conference webpage.

- A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
- The announcement of their achievement on a special conference webpage.

JAE (Journal of Agricultural Engineering) Special Mention & Award
A JAE (Journal of Agricultural Engineering) Metroagrifor Special Mention & Award will be assigned by an international evaluation board to the best paper on topics related to agricultural and forestry engineering among those presented by young researchers.
The Award will consist on a bonus for a free-charge publication on JAE within the next 2 years.
