The JAE (Journal of Agricultural Engineering), the official journal of the Italian Association of Agricultural Engineering (AIIA), is supporting the Metroagrifor Conference with two main initiatives:
- a JAE Metroagrifor Special Mention & Award will be assigned by an international evaluation board to the best paper on topics related to agricultural and forestry engineering among those presented by young researchers (<30 yrs old); the Award will consist on a bonus for a free-charge publication on JAE within the next 2 years;
- the same international evaluation board will select a set of 12 papers to be potentially included, after a regular review process, in a JAE Special Issues on “Matching metrology and management issues in agricultural and forestry engineering applications”.
